Before & After Laetitia

Laetitia is the very natural kind. She's a passionate pro golf player, so let's face it...makeup is sooo not a priority in her daily life. But today she needs to know some. I decided to make it as simple as possible for her. I knew that if it would be complicated, she would never do it ;) 

I choose a mineral powder foundation, because it's very natural, it has sunscreen, and it's very easy to use. I used some contouring on the high forehead and her chin to make her face look less long. A bit under the cheek bones, and the noose. Laetitia face in tanned all over except on her forehand and décolleté (sports wear and golf hat ;) so I used some bronzer everywhere the sun would naturally hit.

Regarding the eyes, I started by intensifying a bit the brows to give them a bit more presence. I used a black and brown pencil on the lash lines, smudged with brown-purple eye shadow to make it soft and bring out the blue of her eyes. Then of course a bit mascara.

For the lips, I just contoured with a natural coloured pencil, smudged the colour into the lips, and put some lip butter.

There are so many makeup products I'd love to have, but sadly enough, a lot of them are not to be found in Israel. Some of the greatest makeup companies do not ship here, or ship at very expensive prices. And what's the deal of buying great cheap stuff if at the end you have to pay 30 $ shipping fees. אין הרבה מצבים בחיים שאת פוגשת אנשים שהם רוצים רק דבר אחד, פשוט מאוד: לגרום לך להרגיש טוב עם עצמך. בכל המובנים. וזו אלין. טוב ואולי גם אמא שלי. מידי פעם. כשהיא לא מעירה לי על החולצה או על הצבע של השפתון.

את אלין, מאפרת לנשמה, הכרתי ברשת. יש לה בלוג בסלונה, והמפגש איתה היה מסוג המפגשים המרגשים שבטח לא היו מתרחשים אם לא היה לי בלוג בסלונה. מידי פעם עלו לי שאלות על איפור: איך לעזאזל אני שמה איילינר בלי להתעכב חצי שעה בבוקר? מה זה ברונזר ומה אני בדיוק אמורה לעשות איתו? איך גורמים לאיפור להיראות טוב גם ביולי?  את התשובות מצאתי בסרטונים של אלין. החלטתי שאני רוצה לפגוש אותה. המפגש עם אלין הוא חוויה בפני עצמה. היא לא רק מאפרת מופלאה אלא גם צלמת שהוציאה אותי פשוט מעולה בתמונות, ונוסף לחוויית האיפור המפגש היה הרבה מעבר לכך. יש לי חברה שמכנה סוג כזה של מפגשים “מסאז’ לנשמה”.

הלפני והאחרי

מי זו אלין?

היא נולדה בבלגיה, למדה פסיכולוגיה וצילום, ומאז שזוכרת את עצמה תמיד אהבה איפור. כששאלתי אותה באיזה גיל היא התחילה לקום שעה לפני כולם כדי להספיק להתאפר ולסדר את השיער לפני בי”ס הופתעתי מהתשובה: אף פעם. מסתבר שבבלגיה לא מקובל להתאפר בגיל מאוד צעיר וכשאלין הייתה ילדה האיפור היה תמיד אהבה גדולה אך יותר כמו משחק מעניין. כשעלתה לארץ היא התחילה לעסוק בצילום כמקצוע מרכזי: “כולם תמיד ידעו שאני מומחית בלצלם נשים מבוגרות, ולהביא את האדם לתמונה, לא רק את התדמית שלו. אני נגד פוטושופ, ואף פעם לא הבנתי למה בכלל לשנות את האדם בתמונה. כשעסקתי בצילום הייתי רואה לעיתים מאפרות שלוקח להן שעה וחצי להכין מישהו לצילום. זה היה אחד הדברים שהובילו אותי לעסוק באיפור, להיפגש עם נשים, להראות להן את מה שיפה בהן“.

למה בכלל להתאפר?

אני לא מאלו שעומדות מול המראה שעות לפני כל יציאה מהבית, אבל אני אוהבת איפור ותמיד שמחה ללמוד עוד. כשאני מתבוננת במראה אני תמיד מחפשת מה להסתיר: את הנמש החדש שיצא מהשמש, את הכהויות מעל ומתחת לעיניים, ועוד. הביקור האחרון בחנות איפור נחשבת לא עלה יפה. המוכרת המליצה לי על מוצרים: ” עיגולים כאלו שחורים מתחת לעיניים את חייבת להסתיר!” הסברתי שכרגע איני יכולה להרשות לעצמי לרכוש את כל המוצרים. “טוב, אם את רוצה להישאר ככה? תישארי ככה” אמרה המוכרת. נשארתי. עם דמעות בעיניים. הגעתי לאלין עם מעט חשש ורצון לחוויה מתקנת. היא הסבירה לי שהיא לא בעד להסתיר אלא להיפך. ישר אהבתי את הגישה: “אני מוצאת תמיד את הטוב בכל אחד, ומה כדאי להבליט. למה להסתיר את מה שלא אוהבים אם אפשר להבליט את מה שאוהבים?” המטרה של אלין היא ללמד אותך איך להשתמש באיפור כדי לעשות את החיים קלים יותר ולהשיג בדיוק את מה שאת רוצה: הגבר שאת רוצה, הדרים-ג’וב עליו את חולמת, ועוד. ממש לא קלישאה.

וככה יצאתי, מחייכת

איך להתאפר לראיון עבודה?

אצל אלין הבנתי שהדבר החשוב ביותר הוא להכיר את עצמי, מבפנים ומבחוץ. פתאום קיבלתי תשובה להמון שאלות: מה מתאים לסוג העור שלי? ממה להיזהר? (מהשמש ומצבעים שמדגישים את הנטייה של העור שלי לאפרוריות). במקרה של פגישה עסקית או ראיון עבודה העיניים הן אלו שמדברות. את בהחלט יכולה להדגיש אותן: איילינר בהחלט אפשרי, צללית המותאמת לסוג או לצבע העור, וכמובן איפור בסיס שמדגיש את מה שאת אוהבת בפנייך ומוציא ממך את הטוב. כי כשאת מרגישה שאת נראית טוב את משדרת ביטחון ונינוחות, שיעזרו לך לצלוח את הראיון הזה.

איך להתאפר לדייט?

תשמעו על פרדוקס האיפור: מחקרים מראים שגברים שנשאלו מה הם מעדיפים, אישה עם איפור או ללא איפור כלל, הרוב הגדול השיב “ללא איפור”. כשהראו לגברים תמונות של נשים מאופרות כבד ולא מאופרות כלל, הן העדיפו את הללא-איפור. אך כשהראו להם תמונות של אותה אישה מאופרת בקלילות (רוב הנשים היו מבחינות שיש פה איפור קל אך לא גברים) או ללא איפור: הרוב המוחץ העדיף את האיפור הקליל מאשר ללא איפור. חשוב גם לזכור שלגברים יש את “טראומת היום שאחרי”: אם את מגיעה מתוקתקת לגמרי, פן, פוש-אפ עקבים ואיפור – הגבר חושש איך תראי בלי כל זה.

מסקנה: את לא רוצה לבוא מאופרת מידי. אבל: כמו בראיון עבודה, גם כאן את רוצה להראות שהשקעת. תני לו להרגיש שהוא חשוב לך, גם אם אתם עדיין לא מכירים. את גם רוצה להרגיש את זה ממנו. לכי על איפור עדין שמחמיא לך, ובמקרה הזה את בהחלט יכולה להדגיש את השפתיים במידה סבירה. לגבי העיניים: אלין לא ממליצה על איילינר לדייט ראשון, מאחר ואיילינר משורטט היטב משדר דיסטנס ולכן מתאים יותר לפגישה עסקית מאשר אישית.

קצת טיפים של אלין לסיום

• אין משהו שעושה רע לעור יותר מהשמש! ראו הוזהרתן.
• אודם אדום מתאים להרבה נשים, רק קחי בחשבון שהוא מושך הרבה תשומת לב.
• חשוב לדעת מה את רוצה להוציא החוצה ומה המסר אותו את רוצה לשדר, ובהתאם לכך להתאפר.
• לא כל מוצר של חברה מסוימת הוא זהה. אותה צללית בצבע מעט בהיר יותר יכולה להיות שונה במרקם, לכן יש לבדוק כל צבע לחוד.
• מסקרה היא מוצר חובה בתיק האיפור שלך. כשהפוקוס הוא על הריסים כל שאר האיפור נראה טבעי הרבה יותר.
